Description

Late Winter Tao Qigong Online Live course - nurture the foundations of your vitality on Sat 7th September 11am - 12pm

Two more Online Live classes with "SPRING QIGONG" Sat 5th Octber and Sat 2nd November

Winter as a Time for Reflection and Conservation

Learn Tao Qigong online:

Every season has different Qigong practices. These ancient self-healing techniques strengthen vitality and promote inner balance and mental clarity.

Winter Qigong: Kidney and Bone Health / Nourishing the Yin

One more online live class for the cold season. The kidneys are considered our foundation of vitality and the storehouse of our essential life energy, known as Jing Qi. Kidneys link us to our ancestors. We inherit their essence in our DNA, however, we also need to continue to nourish our Jing throughout life ensuring we age in a way that is healthy and vital. Since Kidneys are associated with the water element, they also play a crucial role in regulating the body’s water metabolism, supporting bone health, and influencing reproductive function.

Winter allows a time for rest, stillness, and conservation, much like the energy of water

It is considered a period nurturing the body’s deepest reserves, fortifying the Yin energy that is necessary for the expansive growth that is to come in the spring.  The restorative energy of winter comes from us repleting our deepest resources.  Yin is the soil in which all things grow; winter allows us time to allow our soil to rest, time to fortify our Yin and prepare for the coming seasons.

Different themes will be included:

  • Refreshing the brain and support clarity
  • Activating the Meridian system
  • Kidney Health Qigong

This is what awaits you in this Tao Qigong course:

  • We start with a 10-15 minute Qigong warm-up sequence
  • In each 60-minute class we practice an "easy-to-follow" Qigong sequence.
  • Learn Taoist Breathing and "Moving-in-Energy" exercises related to Winter
  • The last part of each class is a healing session of "Stillness" Qigong practice in sitting posture. This is a guided Qigong practice - Duration 10 minutes
  • After class there is 5 - 10 minutes time for questions
